Our Ethos
The following basic principles will guide and shape the operations of YSEA:
- Educate students, fostering a field for exchange of ideas to understand the challenges and opportunities we face, allowing the development of multiple perspectives through interdisciplinary discussions.
- Encourage students to Initiate and lead energy-related projects on and off campus, while promoting connections with key players of the sector and active involvement in local, regional, and global decision-making processes.
- Accelerate current ventures by pairing them with successful mentors and accelerators, get keynote speakers to share their industry expertise, and involve students in undergraduate research with faculty who are working towards sustainable energy.
