Next Saturday, October 31st, YSEA will have Professor Nien-Hwa Linda Wang as our guest speaker! She is the Maxine Spencer Nichols Professor of Chemical Engineering at Purdue University, and her work includes, among other topics, transforming plastic waste into usable fuels and methods to extract and purify rare earth metals. The lecture will be about extraction and synthesis of fuels from used plastics. All Yale students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join. Zoom link will be provided in the newsletter.
